Cialis, also known as tadalafil, is a medical treatment used to help treat erectile dysfunction, or impotency found in men and early symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy, also known as an enlarged prostate. Cialis works by relaxing the muscles found in the blood vessels and it also increases the blood flow to the penis, which helps causes an erection. Another brand of tadalafil is called Adcirca. Adcirca is used to treat symptoms of pulmonary arterial hypertension.
Do not take Cialis while taking Adcirca. This can lead to many different and dangerous side effects. To make sure Cialis is safe and right for you, tell your doctor if you have had any of the following: heart disease, heart rhythm problems, coronary artery disease, history of a heart attack, angina, high or low blood pressure, liver disease, kidney disease, sickle cell anemia, multiple myeloma, leukemia, hemophilia, stomach ulcers, any eye conditions, any deformities to the penis, or if you have been told to not engage in any physical activity by a physician.
Cialis is not expected to harm an unborn child. Before taking Cialis, tell your doctor if your are pregnant are if you are planning on becoming pregnant. Cialis is also not expected to pass through to breast milk. Tell your doctor if you are nursing a child or if you are planning on nursing a child. Cialis is only meant to be taken once a day.
Take Cialis by following the instructions on the prescription label. It is not recommended to take this medication in smaller or larger amounts. Cialis can be taken either with food or without food. Never break or split Cialis in half, always swallow it whole. For the best results,take Cialis one hour before engaging in any sexual activity. An erection will not form just by taking Cialis. Make sure you are sexually aroused in order for Cialis to take effect. During sexual activity, if you are experiencing any dizziness, nausea, pain, numbness, or have tingling in the chest, arms, neck, or jaw, stop taking Cialis right away and contact a medical professional. You may be having a serious and dangerous effect to Cialis. Always store Cialis at room temperature and away from any moisture or heat. Cialis has been proven to improve the effects of erectile dysfunction up to 36 hours prior to dosing. Cialis is only meant to be taken as needed, so you do not need to worry about missing a dose. Do not take another dose of Cialis if you feel as if you have missed your previous dose.
